Halting a storage system

You can use the Halt and Reboot window to halt a storage system.

Steps

1.	From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.

2.	Click Configuration > System Tools.

3.	Specify one of the options:

If...	Then...
You want to allow clients to terminate connections gracefully and halt the storage system after an interval of time	Select the Wait for clients check box and specify the time.
You want the storage system to perform a core dump before halting	Select the Dump core check box.

4.	Click Halt.

5.	Select the check box in the confirmation window and click Halt.
